The Collective:

A WOMEN’S MENOPAUSE GROUP

Welcome to The Collective. We are so honored you are here and ready to walk this path together.

The Collective is both a small group experience and entrance into a larger network. Together, we will move through a 3-month curriculum answering questions about how the body works in the wider menopause landscape, offering evidence-based interventions, and providing a safe space to express frustrations, wins, pitfalls and everything in between. After completion of the cohort, you will be eligible for larger group retreats, content, book clubs, social evenings and more.

We can’t wait to start this path with you, to clearer understanding, kinder self-acceptance, healing, growing and moving forwards. Thank you for taking this step, investing in yourself and bringing you to our group.

March

We will start with introducing what menopause is. We will move through activies honoring our bodies and our lives, saying good bye to some things and welcoming the new. We will discuss how hormones affect our bodies, mind, emotions, relationships and even our vision and taste. There will be space to explore, share, learn and support. This month will focus on some of the hard facts of menopause and various medical and non-medical interventions on the market. We will discuss some of the history of menopause care and where it is headed.

April

April is all about body composition. We will welcome a nutrition and exercise professional who will walk us through how our diet and exercise plan needs change to keep pace with changing hormones. There will be an added bonus challenge during this month as a kickstart into the warmer months. You will receive samples of workouts, recipes, nutrition guidelines and information on how best to track nutrtition without going overboard. We will be mindful of eating patterns and the emotions this can bring up. This can be a hard topic and we will take extra care with one another around eating, food and exercise.

May

Ahhh, May. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and you’re feeling empowered in your body and spirit. This is the perfect time to discuss sex. We do not make the assumption that every person wants, likes or is interested in sex. Our aim is to educate you on how the sex organs change during menopause, what kinds of symptoms can arise and evidence-based ways to treat these. We will discuss types of sex, lubricants, toys, sex roles and even language you can use to initiate sex with your partner, ask for what you want and explore what feels good. What feels good at 45 or 55 is likely not be the same as what felt good at 25 and this month is the time to explore.
